Making It work: How to manage your money on maternity leave and Beyond

Over the years, we have had many of our community members request a workshop for working out the financials of being on maternity leave and also wanting to make life work on one income. We have finally found a facilitator for this type of workshop! Kate is lovely and also has training in the perinatal field...she knows families! Here are all of the details of her workshop:

Making it Work: How to Manage Your Money on Maternity Leave and Beyond

Join Kate Arnold, founder of Balanced, in the comfort of the Babies Naturally environment, and learn how to live the life you want, with the money you already have. This workshop is specifically designed for moms transitioning to a reduced family income, by choosing to stay home with baby. You will learn how to navigate the sea of budget advice, understand why we fail at budgeting and discover strategies to make a plan work. You will be provided with materials based on the workshop, so that you can get started right away.

Intimidated by money talk? Don’t worry. No financial literacy is required and Kate takes a relaxed approach. Selling investments or investment advice is beyond Kate’s scope of practice. Her goal is to simplify money so you can balance your new life.
