Doula, Lactation Support, Parent Educator, Doula Trainer, Certified Coach

I am a lifelong learner, mother of three and wife to one. I have been active in supporting families my whole life. As a doula for over 25 years, birth has taught me so many lessons. My passion for birth and breastfeeding led me to forge a career in family centred care and I have gone on to become certified as a Trauma Coach, A Certified Becoming Us Family Facilitator, A Certified Relationship Coach and a Compassion Coach. I am continuing my studies in Interpersonal Neurobiology and Movement for Trauma. As a doula trainer, I feel fortunate to meet many individuals from different walks of life, eager to share their own passion for family centred care. My children have been my biggest life lessons and continue to teach me every day, even in their adulthood. I believe we are wired to connect and grow, no matter our age and am so fortunate to be part of such a dynamic team here at Babies Naturally.

Doula, Postpartum Doula, Lactation Support

I am a life-long Londoner and have been married to my partner, Rick, for over 30 years. We are parents to two sons who are amazing young men and the loves of our lives. I provided birth and postpartum support to my sister 22 years ago, long before I knew what a doula was.

In 2015 I completed the Perinatal Support Practitioner program at Babies Naturally with the hope of working as a doula when I retired. My retirement came sooner than anticipated, in May, 2017, as the result of a company reorganization. I was thrilled when I was asked to join the Babies Naturally team shortly thereafter. I have continued my studies in the areas of parent education, postpartum support and trauma informed care.
A nurturer by nature, it brings me great joy to support expectant parents and their tiny humans. I know from experience that parenting is hard work and not everyone has a village from whom they can look to for support. With a sense of calm and respect, I am committed to supporting women and their partners with their journeys through pregnancy, birth and parenting.

Whether your goal is to alleviate pain and discomfort, simply to relax, or anything in between, I provide a personal session and treatment plan for each individual. I trained originally with General Swedish massage techniques, but have since continued education with courses such as Bamboo Massage and Cupping Massage. I have previously worked in multi-disciplinary clinics, and strictly massage clinics, but I have found my home at Babies Naturally. With a passion for all things pregnancy and baby, I am confident in my ability to provide a safe and effective treatment, no matter what trimester you are in. With that being said I welcome all clients, male and female, pregnant or not, and of any age. My treatment room is a judgement free space and I look forward to meeting you!

JODEE SNELL

Doula, Postpartum Doula, Toddler Group Instructor, First Aid/CPR

I was born in London and raised all around Southwestern Ontario. I have been married 10 years to an awesome man and we have two small children who I love so much. I enjoy playing volleyball and baseball, making jewellery, and sharing life with my garden. I admire and love all moms in all stages of their journey. I am a blend of practicalness, and empathy, and my experience in exercise science makes me an asset during birth. I believe that caring for others is why I have time here on this earth and it is an honour to help each and every family. One of the nicest things someone has said to me this year is that I have an authentic and calming energy, it is this presence that I bring to every interaction. I look forward to working with families in our community and how each and every one of you will continue to make me a better person, mom, doula.
