Labour Support Provider, Lactation Counsellor, Educator
I have worked with families for over 23 years in many roles. I fell in love with babies the day my mum brought my youngest sister home from the hospital. All through public school and high school, I worked with children in different capacities from coaching to education.
At the university level I taught in Early Childhood Education while concurrently obtaining an Honours English Language and Literature Degree with a joint Kinesiology Degree. Upon graduation, I continued my studies towards my M.A., married my incredible husband and gave birth to our first daughter. The birth and postpartum was not what I wanted, so twenty years ago I embarked on a journey to become a labour support provider and lactation counsellor.
I continue to love learning and my passion is restoring age old traditons to empower families to have the best birth and “family” experience possible. As my three children have grown, I have loved every minute of being with them and consider it an honour to be their mother. Wanting to maintain my deep connection with them and wanting the same for other mothers, I have created three unique programs:
The Calm Mum Program
Parenting on The Same Page
What Your Newborn Is Telling You.
I have gained the BEST knowledge by working with thousands of families over these last two decades and look forward to meeting with, empowering and educating you on your journey.

I am in the fortunate position to be able to say that I absolutely love what I do! I have worked with many families over the last several years as a childbirth educator, lactation support and labour support, and continue to upgrade my skills and knowledge yearly. I am passionate about birth, empowerment and support for families, and truly want couples to know that they have a choice in their birth! I am happily married to a wonderful man and we have three children. With three very different birth experiences, I feel I can add insight and support to any situation. I look forward to meeting you and sharing the miracle of pregnancy and birth with your family!

Labour Support, Educator, Registered Massage Therapist
It has been an honour and a privilege to work with people from all walks of life. I knew when I decided to become a Registered Massage Therapist that I wanted my career to lead me to working with women during pregnancy and through the postpartum period, and I have been lucky enough to reach that goal. Over the years I have helped countless women to reduce and even eliminate pain and discomfort, and I am still humbled by referrals to friends, family and their babies. I am a firm believer in working together with my clients to determine the cause of their pain, then incorporating hands on treatment along with increasing awareness of how their daily activities can contribute to their discomfort. Pregnancy doesn't have to be painful, sleep doesn't have to be uncomfortable, and recovery is not something you have to go through alone. My journey as a mother, a massage therapist, and a doula has been the greatest educational experience of my life. My clients continue to be my best teachers.
With much love, Allison
Growing up in a large family, surrounded by other large families, childbirth and breastfeeding were my cultural normal. I witnessed my younger brother being born at home when I was just 9 years old. That was it – I was in love! As a teenager, I was fortunate enough to attend, observe and assist at several dozen births – mostly homebirths, but some birth center and hospital births as well. Growing up in Michigan I had access to some fantastic traditional midwives and learned so much getting to watch them work. I married very young and soon enough it was my turn to call on those amazing midwives. I gave birth, at home, to Jordan Andrew, 9 months, 2 weeks and 5 days after I married my favourite man, Mark. A quick 14 months later, Delahni Rhea joined us. She came so quickly that the midwife and her assistant were not able to make it. Mark did a great job taking directions from me as we were both surprised by this unassisted birth. Then, 21 months later, Avah Dawn made our family complete. All born at home. Each one a different experience. Each birth a different story. I seek to help Mamas make their birth the story they want it to be. I hope to do this by providing an education during pregnancy, encourage self-learning of evidenced based options and empowering Mamas/partners/families to ask questions and advocate for themselves, their birth and their babies. I have also fallen in love with placentas and offer multiple ways of preparing it for encapsulation. I look forward to hearing stories, being a part of stories and continually learning from stories. With much love,Hillary
I am a life-long Londoner and have been married to my partner, Rick, for over 30 years. We are parents to two sons who are amazing young men and the loves of our lives. I provided birth and postpartum support to my sister 22 years ago, long before I knew what a doula was.
In 2015 I completed the Perinatal Support Practitioner program at Babies Naturally with the hope of working as a doula when I retired. My retirement came sooner than anticipated, in May, 2017, as the result of a company reorganization. I was thrilled when I was asked to join the Babies Naturally team shortly thereafter. I have continued my studies in the areas of parent education, postpartum support and trauma informed care.
A nurturer by nature, it brings me great joy to support expectant parents and their tiny humans. I know from experience that parenting is hard work and not everyone has a village from whom they can look to for support. With a sense of calm and respect, I am committed to supporting women and their partners with their journeys through pregnancy, birth and parenting.
