How To Facilitate A Positive Postpartum- A course for Birthworkers!

How To Facilitate A Positive Postpartum is a one day training for birth workers. This workshop will include:

How To Support Breastfeeding and Challenges In The First Weeks
How To Deal With the Changes in The Family's Emotional States
How To Help With Birth Trauma (for each family member)
How To Help the Couple Bond with Baby
How To Help the Couple Bond more Deeply with Each Other

 

We will delve into how to help partners maintain communication as they become a family, help them unpack expectations, help them understand what postpartum really looks and more importantly feels like and how to navigate their new journey as partners and parents.

This eight hour workshop is open to birth doulas, perinatal support practitioners, postpartum doulas, childbirth educators and anyone else interested in helping facilitate a more positive postpartum. There will be a curriculum provided which includes educational materials for you to provide your clients with in both the prenatal and postpartum period. Certificate upon completion

This training will take place on Saturday June 4, from 9am-4pm The fee is $100.00
