Teaching For Trauma

This 4 hour workshop for educators will explore how trauma affected students, from a biological and physiological perspective, react instead of engage, shutdown instead of participate, retreat instead of emerge and have learned to live in an adaptive pattern.

Trauma is not what we used to think it is: Trauma can be attachment injury, lack of attunement, the inability to regulate the nervous system and underdeveloped skills due to emotional growth inhibition.

This workshop will teach you how to look outside of behaviours and focus on the underpinnings of the behaviours for connection. Introspection, neuroception, neuromodulation and nervous system regulation tools will be addressed over the course of the workshop.

Cost is $80.00 Receipts for educational expenses will be issued
